The Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt am Main is a major event for all design aficionados. Besides presentations by established iconic furniture brands as well as newcomers with daring visions, Ambiente defines the trends that will dominate interior design later in the year. Do you know what they are?

Trend forecasts are based on global research on lifestyle and the phenomena defining our contemporary society. In today’s fast times, many are looking for peace and purpose.

Sustainability, going back to nature and recycling are the major themes. Ambiente 2019 showed how the results of these factors can be attractive and diverse.

Quiet surrounding

Peaceful environment is the essence of the first trend, characterized by simple beauty and practical, almost trivial products catering to honesty and comfort. The combination of soft colours creates a stress-free environment, while respecting the nature of the material used.
